It was a small revolution when we launched the P8 Magnetic Butt Rest. Until then there was neither a magnetic butt rest on the market, nor a butt rest that fits every rod so easily and where you don't have to fumble the rod blank into a rod rest that is too narrow - because they were either too narrow or much too wide. The P8, on the other hand, fits every rod diameter as it consists of two parts. One part is attached to the rod blank and is attached there with a rubber bungee, the other part is a simple plate that is screwed onto the bankstick or buzzer bar. Powerful magnets are housed in both parts, which always steer the rod to the right place, as if by magic. For most types of anglers and styles of fishing, the P8 Magnetic Butt Rest is a perfect fit. Of course, the holding power of the magnets is not infinite, and you should adjust the brake setting accordingly, but that is the case with most rod rests. Stop at any position In contrast, the breakpoint in this setup is pushed back. Sometimes you have to adapt the setup to the local conditions. With the P8 you are more flexible than ever before. Bungee cord There are two different bungee cords included. The one shown here has a grip point at the end, which makes it look a bit larger and also fits very thick rod blanks. O-rings provide support The O-rings that are also included fit thinner, modern rods. Incidentally, there is a replacement in almost every hardware store if an O-ring should tear. Perfect alignment with the Directional Nut The optionally available directional nut makes it easier to align the butt rests on buzzer bars and rod pods.
