It works great on the smaller diameter lines (10-20 lbs). If they make a larger tool you should get the largest one you can get, I'm not really happy with it because it is too small for what I need. It truly is a game changer for the FG knot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best tool for the best braid to fluoro knot *by A***Y on November 16, 2016* I've found nothing as good as the FG knot for braid to fluoro connections, and nothing that comes close to the Daiichi Seiko tool for tying it. I tie FG knots much quicker and more reliably with this tool, using 30 to 40 pound braid and 12 - 20 pound fluorocarbon leaders. FYI: I needed to first understand the FG knot, and after that how to use the tool to tie the knot. I climbed my learning curve by watching you tube videos. Once I understood both the knot and the tool, it took me a two or three practice tries before I could use the tool to reliably tie strong FG knots. (I tested the knots at home with weights.) Finally, I don't like the high price or long shipping times, and I would buy a cheaper, more readily available alternative if I could find one.
