CHECK YOUR PULLEY ANGLES FIRST prior to running any belt- that you raise the pulley height and straighten pulley angle to closely match your motor pulley in order to keep friction to an absolute minimum using the bolts located in front of your tractor mounting deck! I am positive that is why most folks burn thru belts.
