Great quality and fit
Highs: Increased throttle response, turbo noise, very well engineered with high quality components. Plastic box helps to eliminate heat soak vs. metal used in other applications like the Civic Si. Lows: Install is generally easy and straight forward but with a few caveats. In the install vid from Mishimoto, the removal of the bottom section of the stock airbox looks easy. Its not. You definitely need to used both finesse and brute force. Pay close attention to how its done in the install vid especially the angle you have to manipulate the box. it will come out and despite what some people say in the forums, you do not have to remove the wiring harness adjacent to the battery that gets in the way. The second difficulty is getting the MAF tube, filter and silicon tube in the proper position. Pay careful attention to how the MAF tube seats to the side of the airbox when it meets the filter. If you don't get the assembly in just the right position you could have a gap where the MAF tube meets the airbox allowing hot air to be drawn into the airbox. Just take your time and leave everything loose until you find the right position. Overall, I found to have lost torque at the low end and maybe gained a little in the upper end of the rev band. Throttle response has improved slightly as has fuel economy. Honestly, you are probably better off with a panel filter in the stock airbox for this 2.0T Accord or run this along with a tune to maximize the application..

Balancing a Great Intake
Overview:It’s Great intake... blends sound and function, the air box pulls fresh air from the stock intake location, and also pulls a portion of air from the bay allowing for more sound to pass through, when compared to the PRL HVI, also comparing IAT’s from the PRL HVI... they are within 4 degrees at idle on a hot day and identical when moving. The open port does allow for some hot engine bay heat to enter the air box but since the intake runs over the cats, you’re going to see the IAT’s jump at idle stock or not, it does do a better job than an open filter such as K&N at heat management but the turbo sounds are slightly muted compared to the K&N...but IAT’s are kept in a safer region with the Mishimoto Intake design.I would recommend this intake the for your Accord 2.0T.Install:The install was straight forward.. I would recommend watching the tutorial posted by Mishimoto on YouTube as a reference. It was easy to do with common household tools... the only challenging thing about the install was removing the oem air box off the securing rubber peg...many forms say you have to disconnect the wiring harness above the intake to remove the box, but you don’t... pay close attention to how the Mishimoto guys place their hands to remove the box and use a good amount of force and you should be good.Quick note:The plastic push clips that secure the intake ducting are fairly brittle and easily broken, I broke 3/4 of them while removing, I would recommend picking up a kit of replacements before install.

Easy and real breezy...
If you're on the fence about purchasing this intake, don't be. Simple installation without any modifications with company published install videos on YouTube if that suits you. Excellent build quality with subjectively clean ascetics (if you like carbon fiber). It does provide decent intake sound if you are looking for that. As to performance I am unable to speak to any real numbers but there are videos available that demonstrate real world hp gains with this Mishimoto intake as well as others.

Missing Rubber Resonator Cap
First off I would like to state the the package arrived looking like it was an open box item with lots of masking tape around it. But that wasn't even the biggest issue. I was halfway through my installation following along with the instructional video just to find out that the set was missing the rubber resonator port cap so I could not finish my installation. Have reached out to see if I can get the missing part sent to me but let's see how long it takes. Well back to installing the stock part....what a waste of time.

Sporty look that offers boost for the ears
I wanted to get an intake for my '18 Accord Sport 2.0T for quite some time. I've compared closed boxed systems by Mishimoto, Takeda and PRL High Volume and the Mishimoto leads in price and aesthetics. The intake looks fantastic with the carbon fiber top cover. However, this is where the 4 out 5 stars comes in. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the screw holes to line back up when reattaching the cover. This caused (1) screw to cross thread upon reinstallation.I've gained better throttle response and gained some awesome noises. The engine has a deep, throaty voice in lower rpms and gains the turbo w00sh when entering boost.I only wished Mishimoto would design the system with a 1-piecd intake hose leading to the box, like PRL. I ended up our having PRL's intake hose and paring it up with Mishimoto's box. This provides a better stream of air, cleaner look and more audible spooly noises.

Awesome!!!
This intake if proven to improve car performance. Reading Mishimoto website and owning Mishimoto products, I trust them.It gives you a woosh sound when you accelerate. Other then that, it sounds like a ordinary filter idling. Though, I would get this intake if your stock or tuned, highly recommend it!
