Shorted circuitry made it shoot continuously despite mode or adjustment. I didn't try it right away, so I couldn't return or exchange it. The only reason I gave it one star is because there wasn't an option for zero stars. On motion detector, it fires the shutter continuously nonstop in total blackness with nothing in motion until you either shut it off or the camera. The lightning trigger would not detect any flashes of light under any circumstances - this after I carefully read the manual and adjusted the sensitivity. It weights almost nothing and the construction looks extremely flimsy. I have been a photographer for 35 years and I know a useless piece of junk when I see it. Take my word for it, do not waste your time and money on this thing.
