So far these are my favorite of the various containers I’ve tried.I use them to hold powders and glitter, and they work very well for that. The threads on the lids don’t get jammed shut by the contents like some other jars I’ve tried. The color of the contents shows through the frosted glass, but slightly muted. A selection of these on a shelf looks like a little frosty rainbow of color, it’s beautifully look at as well as functional. The opening is wide, it doesn’t narrow at the top, so you can get all the contents out.The only slight negative, for my purposes, is that being glass, they are heavier and cost more to ship.
