## Description

Prevent boil overs on the hot side, add 2 drops per gallon for a nice rolling boil. On the cold side, fermcap keeps the krausen in your fermenter to 1/2". in a 6 gallon carboy there is no need for blow off tubing when you use this product. Use only two drops per gallon at the start of fermentation. If you add fermcap during the boil you do not need to add it again in your fermenter.

**Q: Has anyone used this product when making jam or jelly.  If so, how much should be used per batch?  Thank you.**
A: I use it when making beer. You use 1 drop per gallon of liquid

**Q: When doing a full boil on a 5 gal batch, do I need to add this right before the boil, or can i add it anytime before that?**
A: You can do it right before boil, or even during boil if you need to "save" it from boiling over.  You can also put it in the carboy to tame down foam production.

**Q: just wondering if a drop of this could be used to get rid of foam when pouring a picture out of a kegerator-- eliminating foam when pouring out?**
A: Foam Control does not affect the head on your finished beer. In fact, it can actually increase the head by retaining head-forming compounds that would have been blown off during fermentation

**Q: Can I use this to stop foam on a carboy from going and foaming pieces to clog the air lock? I'm making some fruit wine if that matters.**
A: Yes you can. I believe it's double the dosage, and ad once it's in the carboy. But honestly, it's a lot easier and cheaper in the long run to get a blowoff hose.

first time using this stuff and Ive brewed beer for 8 years. lowering hydrophilic interaction, what a great addition to any homebrewers closet. This order came with 2 bottles, assuming 0.5 oz each. I didnt look at the label. I added about 12-15 drops to during my boil and and broke up the foam within a few minutes. No risk of boil over. In my brewing experience I've have 4-5 boil overs, they can sneak up on even veteran brewers. When your making a 10 gallon or higher batch removing the heat source is not an option, stirring can cause the boil over to accelerate before break up. This product is a sure fire way of eliminating the issue. Now as of what it does to the beers flavor, I do not know yet. I will find out in 6 weeks.
