Used for about 6 months now and they have not gone sticky. You do get a bit of dust stick to them but they wipe off easily. They do the job I wanted them for really well, so overall very pleased. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product! *by Q***. on 1 September 2026* These are great! They do stop sharp ended keys burrowing through your pockets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does the job *by M***B on 4 May 2026* Ideal for covering the key part of a car key that doesn't retract. Saves making holes in my husbands pocket ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work as intended if you don't lose them *by F***R on 31 August 2023* These seem to be the only thing on the market that stops a loose key from making holes in your pocket or stabbing you in the leg when you sit down (or does similarly to a bag with a fabric lining). They work, but they also get loose over time and tend to fall off. I've attached a thread to connect them to the keyring to stop this happening, but it's a fragile solution (I should, to be fair, use a much stronger thread, especially if I can find something elastic). It would be nice if there were some such attachment in the design, but it's hard to see how that would work given the need to trim it to size. I could imagine adding a metal clip or something that keeps the attachment tight, instead. Incidentally, they're not quite big enough to take a True Utility key multitool, which similarly could be used to keep the sharp teeth of a key away from a leg, but works much less well. Anyway; other than their tendency to come off, they're great, I have no new holes in my pocket, and my leg remains unstabbed. I thoroughly recommend them, but do either check whether you've dropped one whenever you use it, or find a hacky solution like mine... ## Frequently Bought Together - SwimCell Key Blade Cover - Silicone Sheath Protector for Car, Bike, or House Keys.
