So for just that you get so much more. Packaging, soap bags, glass rod thermometer and PPE gear if you do lye soaps. Soap mold and planer box also. Great for a newbie like me wanting to make handmade gifts.
Review: A great starter kit to begin dabbling in cold process - This is a great way to get dedicated soap making equipment. The soap blades are fairly nice quality. The mold is just small enough that I don't go too crazy with soap mixes. The spatula is pretty low quality, but it's a good size. I haven't used the soap base yet, but I might try using it for some embeds in the future.

**Q: What is the soap base?  How many bars of soap does this make?**
A: You make soap from the mold in the set, you can only make one. 
If you need a lot of soap base , please contact us.

**Q: Does this come with a base**
A: It did come with instructions in English so I don't know what to do not sure if this is a melt and pour I don't see any lye so I think it might be.

**Q: Do you need to add lye to this?**
A: No, just melt and pour. If you want you can add color and fragrance after melted.

This is a great way to get dedicated soap making equipment. The soap blades are fairly nice quality. The mold is just small enough that I don't go too crazy with soap mixes. The spatula is pretty low quality, but it's a good size. I haven't used the soap base yet, but I might try using it for some embeds in the future.
