Each saw is made from British CS80 steel with a Rockwell hardness of 44-46 and a thickness of 1.5mm to provide a superior stiffness when cutting on long strokes. This blade’s tooth pattern is a Peg tooth formation at 1 TPI, hand set, and cut with the pull/push stroke in each direction. The two handles are solid Beech, and the teeth can be re-sharpened with a large triangular file.

**Q: How are the handles attached??**
A: Slotted over saw with retaining pin.  This saw is beautiful.

**Q: Can the saw be used to play music?**
A: I haven’t tried it but I think it might. At times when the saw ripples, it does make a pleasant sound. Sorry that I can’t be more definite.

**Q: Can the handles be completely removed so the saw can be pulled out of a partial cut?**
A: The handles can be completely removed.

**Q: Know it's a 2-person saw but can it be used as one-person, if so, comments ?**
