APPIONMGAVCT 1/4" MegaFlow Vacuum-Rated Valve Core Removal Tool (2)

Schurader valve removers are critical tool for a leaky valve replacement with refrigerant charge. I have the removers both by Appion and by Robinair. I like Appion since it is totally leak free and I use them during vaccuuming and I achieve below 300 micron easily. However the tip of the core remover from the factory is a bit narrow to hold the valve, I had to use a flat head screw driver to gently expand it. I bought four Appion valve removers and all of them needed to be expanded. So I know it for sure. Attached picture contains both Appion and Robinair. Robinair has a small hold in the center of the remover tip. This hole is missing for Appion. This hole enables the Schurader valve easily inserted while re-inserting it. After the AC refrigerant is introduced to the system, if you cannot re-insert the valve, you are totally screwed. This is such an easy improvement for Appion. I really recommend the engineers of Appion actually use their product in the field and compare with it from Robinair.

The first one I bought, I somehow lost the O ring that goes in the end. So I just invested in 2 more, I love them. Apion make great tool, goes great with my 1/2 black vacume hose I have.
