This little camera is great, but is NOT HD--it records two 640x480 videos, in fish-eye format, which is good for small size but not good to capture details (license plates are almost impossible to read). These two videos are saved side-by-side with audio; sorry, two half-quality videos combined do not make one HD video... but anyways...Pros:- Captures front and rear video simulatneously with a timestamp- Audio sounds pretty good (especially when you're singing lol)- Has GPS and built-in software to plot a video on a map- Front lens moves up and down; adjust angles to your liking- Starts to record ten seconds after you start your car (doesn't seem to 100% of the time though)Cons:- Not HD. Quality is ok but not the greatest. Probably can't read license plates.- Cannot view the videos on a Mac.- No way I can figure out to find out how much space is left on memory card- No way to turn off the screen. It's always on (unlike other cams that dim the screen after 60 seconds)- Auto-start when car is turned on doesn't always seem to work (I look up and the camera is still off)- Outputs videos to .avi. (If I have to export them anyways, why not export to .mp4?) ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good for daytime Basic, Horrible at Night, GPS not work *by M***T on Reviewed in the United States on August 4, 2015* So Ive had this for around a month decided to give it a complete review. I had a mishap at first. I bought a acandisk ultra 32gb micro sd card and couldnt get it to work inside this dash cam so i had to send it back for them to format it. They had great service and sent it back to me fast. Within a week!The camera and accessories are ok, the accessories feel wobbly but the camera feels solid and can withstand the Florida heat. Its summer so it probably got in the 120-140F in my car at points. The only issue I had was one time the suction failed and it dropped. Could have been due to humidity. The only other thing I've noticed is the mount the camera sits in could be made a little better. The camera often sits at a slight angle and moves bc its not fully secured inside the mount.The setup was quick and smooth no problems there and plugging into the computer was a breeze.GPSAhhhh, the GPS is useless. I am yet to get it to work excep inside the car telling me the speed limit in KMPH. Everything is in chinese, even the program and it hasnt left china (the GPS) on the software so if you are buying this just bc of the GPS look elsewhere.MicrophoneNo complaints, works well.Interior CameraThis seems to be the best camera. No complaints except for at night which all get into later.Exterior CameraThere is no way this is a HD camera! This camera is low definition and is very hard to see any detail during the day. It serves its purposes though if you were in an accident. Though you cant see detail you could still see what happened.Night TimeThis camera pretty much falls useless at night. The definition and visibility is so low you cant see anything past what your headlights illuminate. Even in well lit areas its difficult to see.ConclusionThis is a $40-$50 camera max. It can get the job done at bare minimal but with no GPS and no night features there are other cameras on the market that far exceed this one. If you are serious about dash cameras, pay more and get a great 1080 one. If I could give this 2 1/2 stars I would. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Product *by K*** on Reviewed in the United States on May 23, 2020* I liked this camera, it's easy to use and the video has good quality. It lasted 3 1/2 years then it stopped working. I used it every time I drove and sat in my car all year. I live in a state with four seasons temperature range -15 to 115 degrees with humidity in summer. I'm impressed it lasted that long! The reason it got a four star is because the suction cup didn't hold up when it was humid, so it would fall while I was driving or when not in use.
