This made application difficult while flattening out the creases. Once installed it looks decent enough from a distance but up close it doesn't have a high quality look. The surface has a rougher texture than many vinyl wraps I have purchased for other consoles and handhelds and it doesn't seem to want to stick down as much either. The main reason I purchased this was to prevent the shiny surface of my PS4 from getting scratched and worn over time so in that capacity I'm sure it will work fine. The vinyl is a protective material that is actually pretty tough since I've already dropped a screwdriver and my controller twice on top of it without scratching it in the slightest. The vinyl covers the ps4 perfectly and is very easy to smooth out when it comes to bubbles. The finishing look makes your ps4 look retro, but really amazing with the blue streak running through the middle. Friends asked me how did I get one and I told them it was a special edition, until my wife laughed out loud.
