I really like this harness a lot. First of all, super cute, lol. But it's pretty easy to put on once your cat knows it means walks. The leash is a good length for exploring because he can go into bushes and not get completely tangled up. It's long enough to have some exploration, but short enough that you can reach around the branch he went under and not have to undo a knot. I think what really makes it stand out is that it's really secure. I read so many reviews on other harnesses that the cats would escape immediately. We go on walks in wooded trails far from our home, and I'm terrified that he'll get loose and we'll never be able to find him again. I don't worry with this. He has escaped, but only once, and that was a rather extreme circumstance. We were on a path that crossed a street, and right as we got across and were still right by the road, a bus came roaring by. I should have heard it coming and picked him up in time, but I didn't and he FREAKED. I don't blame him, it startled even me. But when I went to grab him he was so upset he twisted so much he somehow got lose. Still don't get how. But that was once out of tons of walks with a very, very freaked out cat. I would recommend checking in a safe place that your cat doesn't just automatically freak out when on a leash, but as long as it's not really extreme, there's no worry. He usually doesn't pull, but the few times he's been tempted by a squirrel or something and jerked after it there hasn't been a problem at all, or when we've headed back to the parking lot and a car will pull out (but not close enough to freak - we've learned and pick him up at the end) and he will turn around and sprint down the path the other way, it still holds, even though he's running fast. Even when he jumped off an edge and we didn't jump off after him quite quick enough so he sort of hung there for a sec (poor thing!), the harness held fine. Review: A good, simple choice - This is a very basic design. It didn't fit my bigger boy. He's long from neck to shoulder, so the girth strap rubbed on his shoulders as he walked, but I bought this one for my girl. She likes that this is just two buckles. It goes on fast, and since she's not a fan of putting it on and off, I like that it's basically a collar. I leave it on for 3-4 days at a time. She has long hair, so I take it off so she can groom herself. It's comfortable for her, and it's challenging to break out of. The leash is a little longer than other harness/ leash combos I've tried, which is also a plus. I'm very happy with it. My one concern is the plastic fasteners. They seem a little flimsy. I'd check them regularly, just to be safe. ## Features - πŸŒ™SIZE: Neck girth 7-12", chest girth 10"-18", leash 59"x 0.4”, please check your pet's neck girth and chest girth before purchase, - 🌟EYE-CATCHING LOOK: Put the beautiful sight outlined above the starry sky on your lovely cat, this amazing cat harness will be a complete charming outfit of your sweet kitties. - πŸŒ™GLOW IN DARK: Luminous design is best way for you to find your cats easily and avoid the accidents when you walking at night or somewhere no light. - 🌟DURABLE LEASH: 59 in long polyester leash with revolving hook and comfortable handle offers a safe option for your next outdoor dating with your feline friend. - πŸŒ™SAFETY BUCKLE: Double safety closure effective escape proof, and easy quick release buckle for preventing the dangerous of throat-locking. He enjoys walking outside and being leashed is the only way he is allowed out of the house. Only down side is that I wish the clips were more durable. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/147792343-cat-harness-and-leash-set-escape-proof-adjustable-for-outdoor](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/147792343-cat-harness-and-leash-set-escape-proof-adjustable-for-outdoor) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
