Do I need to buy anything else in order to install and get this running?** A: You can play blu-ray with VLC player and its free.also if you have nero burning rom that plays and records blu-ray you can get a free install with a few month's trail version **Q: What are m disces ??** A: data, photos, home videos etc stored on a usb stick, dvd etc. they start to deteriorate after 8 + years. If these are stored on an m disc they will last for hundreds of years without any deterioration. Also you can get M Discs, which are the same size as a normal RW DVD disc, that will store 100GB of data etc and store it permanently. **Q: how is it powered** A: I agree with the others, just plug in the SATA power cable and away you go. Now it burns reasonably well but won't ready anything it burns (those burnt discs read perfect on another drive) so looks like the read head is faulty.
