The Benchmade 890 Torrent with BK1 Coating features the Nitrous Assist which allows for quick, reliable deployment and makes one-handed opening a breeze. Give the blade a nudge and the knife does the rest! Release is nearly effortless, and the action is quick and the lock-up is Benchmade perfect. The 154-CM blade has a right handed thumb stud and the knife body is black G-10 handles over steel liners. A lanyard hole and deep carry pocket clip (tip down) are also present. BK1 coating provides excellent corrosion protection, which exceeds the ASTM-117 spec for saltwater while possessing higher scratch resistance. Its overall slim profile makes it a great everyday knife to carry.
