## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can it be put on the base of chess pieces**
A: Indeed. The square of it that I boughtI was for an excessively large vinyl chessboard. There was just enough left over for me to affix to the bases of a traditional wooden 'staunton' chess set. It as thicker than the original bottoms which remained on some pieces. I replaced the lot. Not so sute about the glue being sticky enough for it to last long. Also. I stuck on square pieces then cut them round with sharp tiny scissors. Being thick and loose weave felt the edges frayed a little.

**Q: Is this felt for the shed roof**
A: NO it is cloth to prevent scratching it is like snooker table cloth.

**Q: How do you remove the backing paper**
A: Its a waxy paper and just peals off easily. Just nead to tease the edge gently.

**Q: Can this be used on desk as writing service**
A: I would say no  it's not suitable as a writing surface. Although not especially thick, it is thick enough to cause a pen or pencil to pierce paper resting directly on the felt surface unless used with a suitable backing surface.

The felt did the job and lined a box to put some vases in for display.  The felt was folded.  I would have been helpful if it had been rolled.
