Nouske’s “lifetime” warranty requires sending failed case back to China at buyer expense! *by R***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2018* Update: Almost overnight the outer layer of the case started deteriorating and is now in peeling shreds. I have always kept the case in my pocket or other protection, so clearly the case is made of inferior materials that have a limited lifetime.When I contacted Nouske about its so-called “lifetime warranty” (see paragraph below) I was told I had to send the failed case back to China at my expense, which would cost more than buying a new one; this despite the fact that I received my case from Amazon/USA, not from China.Here is Nouske’s warranty statement on the Amazon website: “Only buy from NOUSKETECH to get genuine Nouske products with Lifetime warranty and superb customer service.”Nouske’s stated warranty is useless. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The test of time *by T***I on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2017* Surprisingly, this little folio case has stood the test of time. The one I am reviewing right now is actually the second one I've bought. I haven't put it on my phone yet though, because I don't yet need to replace the one that I've had for about a year. I simply decided that I like it so much, that I needed a back up for when that day comes. I have used folio cases on all of my iPhones for the past four years. When I got an iPhone 6s Plus, I realized that the folios I was accustomed to using were too flimsy. I spent a long time researching and shopping, and bought a number of cases that turned out to be unsatisfactory before I found a case that had a sturdy enough insert and a decent enough cover on it that he could stand up to the heft of the iPhone 6s Plus. That is this little case. Usually, with folio cases, the insert is the first thing to go. That's the part of the case that hold your phone, or is supposed to hold your phone, securely. Often, they are made a really flimsy, brittle plastic. So, when you drop your case even with it closed, a corner cracks and then your phone -- and its delicate edges -- are then exposed and in danger. I've had these crack to the point that the phone was slipping out of the case! I can't tell you how many times I've actually dropped this case in the last year (though this is my third glass screen protector, so that gives you some clue) and the insert hasn't even shown any signs of it being dropped. I don't know what it's made out of, but whatever it is it is holding my phone well. All of the ports and buttons are accessible, even the silencing toggle, and with the glass screen protector, I feel as though my phone is protected enough for how I use it. It certainly isn't an industrial-strength case, but it does the job for someone like me who usually carries their phone around in a bag rather than a pocket. The cover is also a magnetic, so if you do drop your phone, the case usually doesn't fly open when it hits the floor. It's kind of amusing, though, because the phone will stick to a metal table a little more firmly than maybe you would want it to. If you're hoping to carry a number of cards or other things in this folio case, you will be disappointed. There is only room in the cover for one card, maybe two. It is not a wallet case. The pocket for a card is slightly recessed, though, so having a card in there doesn't make the case much bulkier. That is one nice feature when you want to put one card in it and run into a store, or take your ID with you when you go on a walk.One of the only downsides for me with this case so far is actually the interior colors. I didn't like that the insert is white rather than black, because the bezel around my phone is black. For someone who has a white bezel on their iPhone, it might look all right. Also, the inside of the case is an off-white color, so it shows dirt very, very easily. The insert is starting to discolor on mine, which is also a reason I bought a replacement case.If you'd like to take a lot of photographs with the back camera, this case is not for you. The cutout for the camera fits just fine, unlike some other folio cases, but the folio cover is what gets in the way when you are holding it. Folded all the way back, it covers the camera. After a while with a folio case, you get used to handling it; but, if you've never had a folio case before, it's can be a real pain. An upside of taking pictures with the folio case is that it serves as a stand for the phone. This way, if you're taking pictures with the screen side camera, you can just set it somewhere by itself and it sits right there. That might be a selfie-lover's dream. Great if your mom likes to FaceTime you. A case with a full rubber bumper to fully protect my iPhone 6s without leaving everything on the top and bottom exposed. I love the fact that it has a magnet to keep it closed. (it will not turn off your phone) It is light weight, which is nice. I decided on the rose gold color and I love it! It's soft on the inside so your iPhone won't get scratched. I do have a glass protector & this case offers me another layer of protection. I dropped my iPhone on a tile floor while visiting my daughter in the hospital and my iPhone screen shattered, but not the glass. It has one slot for a credit card or driver's license, and I an easily slip this in my small cross body purse, or into a pocket without adding any bulk. The cover is not, which is another plus. *********I've had this for quite a while now, & yes it gets a little dirty on the inside, BUT, I took my iPhone out and ran it under cold water, added a tiny bit of dish soap, scrubbed it with a tooth brush, let it dry and it looks brand new.
