Good quality
This is a very sturdy built unit. It's stainless steel and should last a long time. It recharges well in sunlight and then works for 3-4 hours after dusk killing the bugs! I like I don't have to run an extension cord all over patio to power the light electrically and no batteries to buy. If you want to use it indoors it comes with a charging cord. Can also be used as a nice subtle "night" light. The lights are LED so should last a long time. 90 day warranty should be long enough to make sure it isn't defective. I really like this light and recommend it highly.

Attractive and Excellent for outdoor use.
The light is not too bright, but still very good for lighting the way. I leave my lamp outdoors and it has rained for day here. No issues for far. Both the mosquito light and normal light still work. I have yet to plug it in to charge since the solar works nicely. I don’t see any rust yet- sometime you never know what type of material you will get, but so far it has been very sturdy. Will likely take it camping next time to help with mosquitos.

Great for solar light, not so much for bugs
Great solar light. Doesn’t kill any bugs though, which, is why I bought it initially. The light works great and it has a regular light feature that illuminates real well. Good quality light

VERY expensive night light. Does not work. Found another one that does work very well, but it’s electric. Wanted solar. That one was zapping like crazy while this one was silent in the same area. Didn’t save charger etc so a return may not be possible now. Very unhappy to have spent that much money for a product that doesn’t do what it’s supposed to.

Good light but not a bug zapper
Nice light and solar powered to save on operating costs but did not kill any flies or mosquitoes during the week that I used it, returned for refund...

Good if left outside day and night.
They seem to be working but they arrived after the heavy mosquito season. Wish the charge lasted a little longer.

very stylish but now too effective.
I bought this product thinking that it would help rid flying insects in my garden without having to worry about running an extension cord, etc. I installed it in the midst of my vegetable garden in the rear of my house. Even though there were no lights there, the unit did not zap any insects. It was very clearn after two weeks of being there. The other one on the patio was ineffective, too. They lit up but were no very ineffective.

Wish it were better for the price
I love everything about it. But noticing purple light isn’t really attracting what it’s supposed to

Hasn't killed a bug so far
This is a nicely made... lantern. It's supposed to kill bugs, but it hasn't killed a single bug - and I've had it for months. It's useful as a solar-chargeable LED lantern and it looks nice. That's the only thing I can use it for.It has to be completely dark before the "bug killer" and blue LED will even turn on - and when you do, the charge will only last for about 20 minutes before the battery is dead.

false advertising, scam product - please research first
This thing sux. I wish I took 15 seconds to Google first and find out mosquitos are not actually attracted to UV light. Long story short it does not do anything and barely functions as an actual light even. Also the name GutReise suggested some kind of cutting edge precision German engineering company, but it's just another scummy company out of China. This is the kind of thing that you expect to find on AliExpress rather than Amazon.

A bit misleading advertising
Works well. But you need to let people know it doesn't work during the day unless the solar panel is covered.

Not Worth it
Have not seen a dead mozzie, but we are getting bitten by them. Heard one zap in 3 weeks, but didnt see any insects left behind. Recommend buying a thermocell instead.
