Tried to use this product to fill a hole in cast aluminium, the wire was rubbed with the supplied sandpaper and the work was conducted exactly as specified. I tried a butane torch initially but could not get the work hot enough for the welding wire to melt. I then used a Map gas torch and tried again, the piece got hotter and hotter, yet still the wire wouldn't run. I then put the wire into the hole I wanted to fill and the wire cut through the by now melting cast, like a knife through butter. Now I have a bigger hole to fill! I tried this on cleaned steel and even when the steel was glowing red the wire would not run. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not as easy as you think. *by D***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 4 March 2020* Unless you have access to a VERY hot flame then think hard before buying.
