You literally just turn the mic and the transmitter on and they immediately sink together (made things much easier for friend who was acting dj for the actual ceremony) sounds great, worked about 50 yards away from our speaker which was impressive and has a healthy weight (makes me feel like it’s a quality mic and not plastic garbage). I ordered this mic shortly before our wedding and it arrived early on time but unfortunately the mic I ordered had some issues making it unusable. I like the mic as a whole, easy to pair, works well with good sound quality. What is making this product unusable is the receiver's batter life. It constantly runs out of charge and recharging does not work most of the time. The LED lights do not glow even after several hours of leaving it on charge. The blue light, when it ever comes on, is only flashing and is never solid.
