Makes amazing rainbow cakes, if you have thin tins. Fun to match the icing to the colour of the inner as you go. Used for a raspberry vanilla layer cake recently with layers of cream and pink. Used raspberry essence and it was amazing! **Q: Whenever I use this it never goes a dark colour? Why?** A: I have used their Aztec blue for my macarons and the colour was pretty dark. Although, the colour faded a little after cooking. Maybe if I added a little more dye, the colour wouldnt fade? **Q: Are these suitable for adding to melted chocolate?late** A: Don’t think they’d colour milk or dark chocolate but they’d colour white chocolate. **Q: Can I colour marzipan with these?** A: Haven’t tried, it should work although will depend on depth of colour required and initial colour of marzipan. The tiniest amount is needed - literally not even a drop, just a touch with a fine artists brush. These pots will last me forever!
