So this was a good substitute. It has a small profile with good speed. Very happy with this purchase. Review: IT WORKS AND GETS ME CONNECTED! - I thought when my Apple Macbook aluminium's (5,1) wifi hardware is a goner, the only way to get internet connection is through a wired access on a router, or through a personal hotspot using my iPhone (it's expensive mind you!). This Edimax product makes my situation more convenient. Moreover, through a problem with a desktop CPU that I have been working without wifi hardware, a wifi dongle is the next best solution and found out that Edimax has such a peripheral. While using it, I found out that it's a little bit slow in connecting and getting that wifi signal--but it still connects somehow. By the way, please update your printout guide and PDF guide--the latter has more complete information. Thanks Edimax and desertcart for a wonderful product! ## Features - EW-7822ULC ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B06WD1PTVY | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,381 in USB-to-USB Adapters | | Brand | Edimax | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Desktop | | Compatible Operating System Family | Windows | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 102 Reviews | | Data Link Protocol | USB | | Data Transfer Rate | 867 megabits_per_second | | External Testing Certification | CE, FCC | | Global Trade Identification Number | 04717964701602 | | Hardware Interface | USB | | Item Weight | 2 g | | Manufacturer | Edimax | | Mfr Part Number | EW-7822ULC | | Model Number | EW-7822ULC | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | UPC | 767531640203 | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Edimax - **Color:** Black - **Compatible Devices:** Desktop - **Data Link Protocol:** USB - **Data Transfer Rate:** 867 megabits_per_second - **Hardware Interface:** USB - **Item Weight:** 2 g - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **UPC:** 767531640203 - **Unit Count:** 1 count ## Images ![Edimax AC1200 Dual-Band MU-MIMO USB 3.0 Adapter, EW-7822ULC (USB 3.0 Adapter) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51CtSClqkyL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smallest profile with very good speed *by D***E on March 24, 2024* My notebook's in built WiFi failed. En este caso no he tenido ningún problema y funciona perfectamente. Es además pequeño y muy poco intrusivo con excelente cobertura ## Frequently Bought Together - Edimax EW-7822ULC - AC1200 Dual-Band MU-MIMO USB Adapter - Graugear Docking Station für M.2 NVMe SSD mit Heatsink und Lüfter - Samsung 990 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD, 2 TB, PCIe 4.0, 7,450 MB/s read, 6,900 MB/s write, Internal SSD, For gaming and video editing, MZ-V9P2T0BW --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/149762648-edimax-ac1200-dual-band-mu-mimo-usb-3-0-adapter](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/149762648-edimax-ac1200-dual-band-mu-mimo-usb-3-0-adapter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
