I have used this brand of yeast in previous bread machine and it always worked. The loafs rose well and had a good flavor. I used Fleischmann's in many recipes both in a bread machine and in hand made loafs of bread. It always worked in bread loafs, buns, rolls, whatever I baked at the time. Even new recipes trying for first time. Fleischmann's brand yeast is dependable, easily found, and has always worked for me, I have been baking our breads for over 60 years and this yeast is very good, reliable. This yeast I bought could not rise the bread this time, which I believe to be due to the bread machine used. I tried several brands of yeast all failed. That cannot be the yeast. If biscuts don't cook in the oven it is the oven not the dough. This yeast did rise when the breads were made by hand and baked in the oven.
