Watch a video on how-to and you are set. With a little patience, you can open your JBL unit, and disconnect the battery. I did this and the rest was simple. The new one went it. I reassembled. It worked. Don't leave your power cord plugged in 24/7 as that will shorten the battery life. Use a smart plug to charge it an hour a day. More if you are a heavy user of your JBL as in several hours of music listening say on a Saturday all day while changing the oil and doing brakes. In that case, leave it plugged in and the smart plug on.
