I expected a cheap very artificial looking “shell” and was pleasantly surprised to find the opposite. This really does look exactly like a real turtle shell, you cannot tell it’s plastic. The shell is very sturdy and has no loose pieces or noticeable joints.

The product is of good quality and feels like it'll last a very long time. It looks VERY real, which is great! But it's also tiny. Like, really tiny. The pictures are very misleading. It said it's for small reptiles, which I though was perfect for my young Kingsnake. No way she can fit in this. It's still a cool looking decoration, so I don't regret getting it. But unless you have insects or baby tiny lizards, I would only get this if you plan to use to as a decoration. It also has several points inside the shell that are quite sharp, and since this is marketed towards reptiles I think the seller needs to fix that. As it is, I will sand it down. All in all, I like it as a decoration, but it definitely needs new pictures that are more honest and it needs to come with those sharp edges rounded out to prevent injuries

I like the look. Overall it's pretty and feels sturdy despite being very lightweight. It is smaller than I anticipated. This is definitely more a small snake or lizard or small hamster size.Our snake is only a year old so he fits very nicely inside and he'll get a lot of use out of it before he's too big. And after that it'll just be a nice piece of decor in his tank.The biggest issue is the inside molding definitely has some sharp corners. I don't think they're that dangerous, I mashed my fist into it pretty roughly to make sure. However, I wouldn't take the risk with my animals, and I did sand down the interior until the edges were rounded and smooth. It took me maybe 15 minutes with some sandpaper. So that is definitely something to keep in mind and the reason why I haven't given it 5 stars.OVERALL, I like it! And more importantly, the snake likes it. He fits perfectly inside with room to grow.It is pretty and looks like a proper shell, it will fit well into an enclosure with a naturalistic look.The insides are pretty sharp and ought to be sanded down.Like it, don't love it, but would buy again.

Got this for my 4 month old hognose boy (35 grams) , he fits perfectly and has plenty of room to grow and still fit in it too, and he loves it!

Ich hatte ihn als Versteck für eins meiner Reptilien gekauft, aber weder eine meiner Schlangen, noch mein Leopardgecko passen rein.Mein Schmuckhornfrosch ist noch klein und der passt rein, allerdings auch nicht für immer.Wenn man Deko fürs Wohnzimmer sucht, ist der Panzer gut, weil er sehr realistisch aussieht. Für die meisten Tiere ist er aber zu klein.
