I was hooked having had the book less than a week I’ve also made the Suki dress, I got a little bit scissor happy and cut my pattern too small- inspired by all the garment hacks I decided that I was capable of making some adjustments myself and created a beautiful colour block sleeve Suki top! The Juno sleep mask is also so very cute and I’m about to make a few as gifts for my family! Thanks Tilly- a really great book with simple instruction and personalisation ideas to make every garment your own. Definitely worth purchasing for a complete beginner. I treated myself to this book on pre-order and it's the best book I've ever brought. I've already made the safiya dungarees and had the confidence to change the pattern to add in buckles and pockets and am now waiting on some fabric to make the wrap dress and jumper. I was slightly worried that there wouldn't be enough patterns to fit my own style but the making it your own sections give you so many ideas for customisation and altering the patterns. I'm planning on ordering another copy of my mother in law for her birthday and plan to get all the other Tilly and the Buttons books for my birthday!
