I've been reef keeping for nearly 4 years now and this is a great tool to use to make sure you're doing everything properly. The tables within it are extremely useful for any experience level. Not only does it present great information, it also gives you a few laughs here and there, especially in the beginning regarding the writers initial experience with saltwater tanks (we've all been there). I can't think of another book that was as easy and enjoyable to read and also provided some vital information regarding the hobby. I do wish it had gone a little more in depth about fish species but overall a very helpfull tool and I couldn't have started without it. The only other thing I wish it would have done is given me a dictionary type structure that informed of didn't things. Like what a protein skimmer was or what a refugium was.
