You just have to put it on TOP..........Any strong wind can take off the roof since it has no screw or any thing available to tie it with the body. I wish the description had provided the size of the front doors (or I had asked about the size of the front doors) prior to ordering. I am using the cage for sugar gliders and the front doors are too small to put branches, wheels, and other accessories into the cage. I also wish it had a wire roof on the top of the cage, under the peak roof. Here were the issues. The box arrived with one side ripped open and some of the contents were dented. We were able to straighten out the dents to our satisfaction. Now, as for the included instructions...they were just plain horrible. We took out the instructions to a similar bird cage we have and used those!
