Across the board all six shades apply smoothly and are fully opaque with one to two coats. I find that they are all true to color and none of them darken as they dry, which I find can be an issue with many cool mauve shades. And the red shades are a nice range (cool pink-red, classic blue-red, and a darker warm-red). For the price this six piece set could legitimately be all you need to create almost any look.When it comes to the wear of these lip creams I am thoroughly impressed. They dry down completely, quickly, but don't dry out my lips. They wear beautifully for 9+ hours despite eating, drinking, and various other activities.
