Going form VGA docking station to a HDMI port on tghe TV - 1080 great

I ignored many of the other reviews, and decided to buy this. It doesn't work. Not really anything else to say. It won't detect anything. Tried it with 4 different computers, tried their VGA slots and HDMI slots. Tried 3 different monitors, and 2 TV's, used both VGA and HDMI slots on those on well. It just doesn't work. I'd love to return it but the closest UPS store is about 50 miles away, it'd be cheaper to just throw it in the trash rather than spend the gas money to return it.TLDR: Don't buy it, look elsewhere

Fine workmanship!When in fact the cable is VGA to HDMI. If you need to go from computer (HDMI) to monitor (VGA) THIS CABLE DOES NOT WORK! I fell for the description as well. Move on to some other cable that is truly HDMI to VGA.

This cable did not allow my Lenovo P52 to connect to my Dell E2414H monitor via the laptop hdmi port, which is what it is supposed to do, and what I purchased it for. Had to buy another cable which worked fine immediately. Complete waste of money.
