Review: Quality, pure lime, excellent customer service, easy to use - I don't usually leave reviews but Firmolux's product and customer service are fantastic. I only have my first coat on but will post a picture after burnishing. Grisello (and rest of the company's plaster) are pure, imported from Italy, with zero VOCs. Aside from product quality, I accidentally ordered microprimer instead of a second gallon of Grisello. Anthony (even though it was after hours) talked with me about the process and shipped another Grisello out today. Seamless. Venetian plaster is a challenging project, and to have someone explain exactly what to do with the exact product one is using is invaluable. Lastly, Firmolux has a tutorial for plaster application. Highly recommend.

- What is Venetian Plaster: Also known as “stucco Veneziano”, Venetian plaster is a wall and ceiling finish made from magnesium-grade dolomite limestone. It is heated to produce calcium oxide, then aged in water. Finally, the lime is blended with marble and other mineral aggregates. Applied in multiple layers, which are then burnished to create a smooth surface with the illusion of depth and texture. When applied correctly, this type of plaster will create a highly polished and marble-like finish.
