They are excellent for removing buildup in stages. I used the blue one to get what the white one missed. I finished with the brass, giving it a bright finish before polishing with a good quality polish, Flint. These brushes are DURABLE-I've used them on several razors as well as some dingy silver jewelry. Everything came out better than expected. We have very hard water in my area and a warm mist humidifier builds up deposits quickly. I use the blue one mostly as it has a hard, non-abrasive bristle. The copper gets used for tougher deposits. I save the white one for my pistol cleaning. The size of each brush is good and can get most of the small spots on a Glock. The price was good and they've lasted a while, so they get 5-Stars for now. These worked great at removing residue from a shotgun I was cleaning. Only issue, and this isn't really a complaint so much as a nitpick, is the bristles on the bronze brush are really easy to bend in all sorts of weird angles. I don't expect I'll be using the bronze brush or if I do I'll have to replace it earlier than I expected. Still, definitely worth the money. These brushes have been a great addition to my firearm cleaning supplies. They are holding up very well and perform the job better than I had expected. Previously, I was just using a toothbrush but found it tough to reach certain parts of my weapon. These brushes are thinner than a toothbrush and fit easily in places I wasn't able to reach before. Having 3 different brushes allows me to use the harder bristles, when needed and the softer, when needed.
