Best stone set for the price
The angle guide isn't the greatest but you get a decent finish and easy for beginners, I no longer use the guide and can get sharving sharp polished finishes from this stone. Not sure why you'd need higher grit than 6000 and this is just to polish and give a glass like finish, the 1000 side sharpens blunt blades, if your blade is chipped or damaged, you'll need a lower grit to re-profile the blade such as 120, 240, 400. The lower the grit removes more steel so use only to repair then work up through the grits to the 6000 polish, you can get a decent shaving sharpness from this stone alone without a leather strop or steel. There are many videos on YouTube and sharpening techniques. This stone is the best I've used and I own several.

Great Edge
Great product, does the job well, fairly new to this type of sharpening but I was able to achieve a great edge. Only thing to be cautious about is the angle guide did mark the flat of the blade, so maybe a little tape would be a good idea to protect your knife.

Watch your fingers!
Having seen numerous Whetstones in the marketplace, many of which say "This is the one you need", I chose the Meterk 1000/6000 as it appeared to offer good value for money whilst fitting the bill regards the two grit options and accessories. It's early days for me, but it appears to be doing exactly what I expected. I've always used an old oilstone in the past and have been quite pedantic about my knives being sharp, but the whetstone is SO MUCH more efficient and I now have a range of dangerously sharp knives. So, seriously - watch your fingers!

Seem to be a good set of stones so far, only issue is stones separated.
I removed one star because the first time I put the stone in water the two halves separated, but this isnt a major issue, it just made me question the overall quality a little bit as it is meant to be one piece. Other than that the stones have been great.

Easy to use and it works
Bought it for my hubby for xmas. He has spent a long time in the kitchen sorting out all of our knives! He says it's easy to use, and actually works for an amateur

All in one quality knife sharpener
Easy to use it won't slip as there is a rubber band holding it tight. Sharpens the thin knives faster, for thick ones it does take a while as you would expect. It's made with quality materials. The thickness of the stone I would expect it to last for a long time.

Great
I bought this stone as my first whetstone and expected it to be too hard to learn but after a couple of tries i got the method down and the stone brings out a nice edge for the blades before i used this the knives were not able to rip paper nevermind cut but after use the knifes became extremely sharp and ready to use in the kitchen
