Review: Good performance, bad quality control. - First real test of this unit was to run a compressor type cooler on the beach while charging a 12V car battery. It did both just fine. Unfortunately that is when I realized one of the panels was laminated with a chipped solar cell in it. Thankfully it still put out over 5A of current. I saw it hit 5.5A when pointed properly at the sun so it is well within spec for this panel. The bag is another story, after 1 use the handle on the bag started to come off. Lastly the legs are cut quite sharp and may damage the back of the panel pretty fast. I put some electric tape over it to help as they are very difficult to take off to grind down the sharp edges. The panels are glass so they should last a very long time.

This is a good glass panel solar suitcase. The legs are light weight but suitable for its design. The solar controller is attached to the back of one panel which protects it from the weather but makes it harder to read. It does come with a storage bag but would be better if it had some padding. The panel is easy to move thru the day and an overall good value. I would recommend this panel. Don’t worry about NOT buying Renogy...Renogy customer service is the worst. Save the money and buy this one.
