High quality construction. I have an 8 gallon brew kettle and it fits inside with plenty of room to spare. It chilled it in 4:40 seconds from boil to under 80 degrees. I used a brew spoon to stir in between the middle coil and it helped speed it up. My yeast wasn't done pitching yet is how fast this thing works. I took this thing to the hardware store, and had to spend another 20 bucks for the garden hose setup. I had a garden hose at home. I just attached the fittings right to the chiller no clamps needed. I can honestly say, nothing has revolutionized my brew day as much as this piece of hardware right here. I would highly recommend this thing. I can cool 6 gallons of wort from boil to 68 F. in under 15 minutes, and 45 gallons from 155 F. to 80 F. in under 40 minutes (well water at 55 F.). The 3/8 inch, 20 foot coil from my local brew shop is $79.00, and takes A WHOLE lot longer to cool. This costs almost the same as buying the copper from a Dept. store and doing it yourself without the time investment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ works fine. The only reason for four stars instead of ... *by T***E on February 13, 2018* works fine.The only reason for four stars instead of five, is that the one I received had a crushed/flattened end on one of the ends. Not a problem for me, I used a cutter and cut it off. However, most people do not have copper tubing cutters on hand and would have had to find some way to obtain or use a cutter.To be clear, with a cutter it took all of maybe a minute - was easy and nothing to it. If no cutter, you would have to find or buy one.
