Gives your luggage a second life. Review: Resurrecting my favorite travel carry on. - After 11 years my High Sierra two-bags-in-one with wheels had worn out its wheels. I discovered this wheel kit for a reasonable price. I think the value and quality is excellent. The fit was just right for my bag, which is no longer sold. It did take me several hours to install the wheels, however. Among other issues, I had to go to the hardware store to buy a new blade for my hacksaw. The hacksaw was the only way I could remove the old wheels from the bag. There were also four substantial rivets that had to be drilled out. If my eleven-year-old bag was still sold, I’d have sprung for a new one. However, Samsonite bought out the company and in their wisdom, discontinued this model. ## Features - *Size Information: Wheel Diameter is 70mm / 2.76", Rim Width is 24mm / 0.94", Total Wheel Width with Bearings is 27mm / 1.06", Center Bearing Diameter is 6mm / 0.23", Lengths of 2 Types of Connect Axles Provided are 36mm / 1.42" and 39mm / 1.54". - **NOTE PLEASE: Before purchasing, please measure your old wheel parts' size (Wheel Diameter, Inside Width, Axles Length) and suitcase models, and check our size information in pictures to confirm whether this product is suitable. One would have to contact the manufacturer for that. However, since the the wheel is a replacement wheel for luggage that is the size that is for aircraft luggage compartment ( not carry on board ) I would assume that the wheels meet the Airline Luggage Weight requirement for large luggage. **Q: Will these fit Samsonite wheeled briefcase? Do you supply instructions?** A: I did not receive instructions, but the product worked great in my case. I don't know if it will work for samsonite wheeled briefcase. **Q: Will these wheels work on a Rimowa suitcase?** A: Measure the wheels on your luggage these are 24 mm wide 70mm high **Q: Do the wheels fit the wenger swiss laptop case (patriot) ? thank you,** A: You will absolutely need to measure the outer diameter of the wheels on your case. If you can easily remove the existing wheels, pull one and measure the axle diameter. While you're at it, measure the width of the wheel at the axle bearings. The kit comes with two different length axles, so that more or less takes the worry out of that part of the equation. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by B***P on September 12, 2026* Exactly what you need if you know how to replace it yourself.
