Review: Simple upgrade that noticeably improved my desktop speaker setup - I bought these to use with my Audioengine A2+ speakers, and they ended up being one of those small upgrades that made a bigger difference than I expected. Before this, my speakers were sitting directly on my desk, and looking back, I didn’t realize how much sound was being lost or muddied from the positioning and desk vibrations. The angled design helps point the speakers more toward ear level, and it immediately made the setup sound a little clearer and more focused, especially for vocals and dialogue. The build quality is also really solid for the price. They have a nice weight to them and don’t feel cheap or flimsy. The foam padding on both the top and bottom is a nice touch too. It helps keep the speakers from sliding around and does a decent job reducing vibrations through the desk. Size-wise, they pair perfectly with smaller desktop speakers like the A2+. They don’t take up much extra space, and the clean black finish blends in nicely without drawing attention. My desk setup looks more organized and intentional now instead of just having speakers dropped on the table. One thing I appreciate is that they’re extremely simple. No assembly, no adjustable parts to mess with, just take them out of the box and place your speakers on top. Sometimes that’s exactly what you want. I probably wouldn’t use them for anything especially large or heavy, but for compact desktop speakers they work great and feel well made. Overall, these feel like a well-designed accessory that improves both sound and desk aesthetics without costing a ton. If you have compact desktop speakers and currently have them sitting flat on your desk, these are absolutely worth considering.
Review: Also work great to tip speakers down, if speakers are above ear level - These Kanto S2 speaker stands also work great to tip speakers downwards. My Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 speakers are positioned 14" above my ear level since they sit on the top of a computer roll-top desk, so they need a speaker stand to tip them down, not up. The ProMedia speakers sounded dull with their included stand that tips them upwards. After removing the factory stands, the black Kanto S2 stands securely hold the ProMedia speakers tipping them downwards, even though the speaker bottoms have a curve and would not sit flat on a desk. The S2 stands are very solid and the padding is firm, not cheap foam. The padding protects the speakers and is also on the bottom protecting the desk. There is also a small pad on the center tab. These S2 stands do exactly what I need to tip my speakers downwards. The sound is much improved. I paid 19.99 on desertcart, now (1 month later) they are 29.99. They were definitely worth 19.99, but 29.99 seems a little expensive.

## Features

- IMPROVED SOUND - S2 speakers stands let you get the most out of your speakers by tilting them 16° toward your ears, ensuring you never miss out on those higher frequencies. Foam padding on the top and bottom of each stand also helps to maintain stability and reduce undesirable resonance.
- MINIMALISTIC DESIGN - Using as little material as necessary, S2’s low-profile design keeps your desktop looking clean.
- SOLID METAL CONSTRUCTION - Premium build quality and ultra-stable design to keep speakers in place.
- THE PERFECT COMPANION - S2 stands measure 3.9'' wide by 5.3'' deep and are capable of holding 6 lb each. Use them with Kanto's YU2 Powered Speakers or similarly sized speakers.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this item come as a pair or is each stand sold seperately?**
A: They are sold as a pair.

A: Nope. I have them for my HD3s and they are perfect fit.

A: The Adam T5V are much too large for the S2's and will also be too for our largest desktop speaker stand. Please email Kanto Customer support if you have any other questions and we'll be happy to help.

**Q: Could these fit the edifier r1280? or would the kanton s4 be better?**
A: The R1280T is too large for the S2, they would work well on the S4. Feel free to contact us directly using the support button on our website if you have any additional questions, thanks.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and attractive stands for my computer desktop speakers.
*by R***9 on February 28, 2026*

I have a pair of medium-sized Edifier speakers that don't need stands because they have rubber feet that protect the desktop, but I'd read that using stands with a slight tilt would improve sound, so I decided to buy the Kanto stands and try them out. I've used Kanto stands for smaller speakers, but I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy they are; the Edifier speakers are pretty hefty, but the stands support them easily. They are also attractive; they match the speakers quite well. These were a good value for the money.
