We needed a pretty sturdy service jacket but light due to weather. He has one for winter and this will be for summer! Buckles are HUGE on the XL! There are soft patches at/for the meets in the undercarriage. The D loop is pretty strong. I wish there were two D loops/ringsAlso, I wish there were the pieces that help keep its size. This vest/jacket doesn't have the "size keepers"! There are two 'service dog' patches but we have too many of those already! It's made well with padding and breathable mesh which is a must in Texas in summer! I give it 4 stars!****Please do NOT buy this if you do NOT have a service dog. Your ESA is not a service dog(only under certain circumstances). This is making it VERY difficult for teams.I recently had my service dog attacked by another "service" dog as we were retreating the situation. This has set us back and traumatized my dog a little.
