The bands provide a smooth feeling resistance. There looks to be an insert for adding an addition third band as well, I’m curious if the manufacturer offers this as an accessory, but it’s cool it’s built in to the device. Granted 2 bands feels like plenty for explosive reps or in addition to free weights.
