have read the book before this review, this is about the order itself.
okay im a huge book collector, i collect books i read them and i never get rid of any of them as i am a collector. so i ordered the softback version of this book to fit nicely on the shelf with all my other softback warhammer novels....they sent me a hardback....normally people would think cool., hard backs are worth more in the long run usually more expensive etc etc but to me its not, i dont like hard back, i specifically collect soft backs . just super annoying as the hardback isnt even listed on the books amazon page.

Good read
I enjoyed the book. It was a enjoyable story of the eleven kingdoms trying to hold back the end times.

Uneven but Good None the Less.
The third book in the End Times runs a bit afoul of sped up timelines and the lack of suspense that causes. It explains a very important part of whatβs to come though.

All things end
A satisfying end to the elven story. Didn't go the way if expect. It's been so long since I'd read the old books. It was refreshing to get all the flashbacks

huge let down
So disappointed to see Malekith get this bizarre treatment... as if decades of the IP (and thousands of years in-story) didn't matter at all. Malekith doesn't even get a plausible character change. It's all so ham-fisted as an obvious rush to get past this and shuffle the elves over to the Old World for the End Times. It's like the first Wolverine movie: a bucket of characters the writer doesn't seem to care about strung together just to make the beginning of the book reach the pre-determined end.

Boring!!!!
This was not an interesting novel. This novel was rush, incomplete and boring. Could not understand how Khaine became the focus and hero of the story. This creature has been a thorn in the side of the high elves for thousands of years. Black library you have lost a paying fan/reader.

Feels like half a book
The problem with the end times novels as a whole, including this one, is that there's a lot going on behind the scenes that isn't explained in the main novels so if you don't read the short stories it's hard to keep up with what's going on. Otherwise it's a good book.
