On *MY* camera the available "Loop Recording" options are 1, 2 or 3 minutes, which I did not care for. However I did discover, quite by accident, if you set the video "Loop Recording" feature to "OFF" then it will default to loop recording 15 minute segments. For me this is a lot better than the 1, 2 or 3 minute options available on my camera. Hope this helps. **Q: When I want to save a loop to download later is it fairly simple to do so while driving? The one I have now is too complicated!** A: While the DVR is recording video, press the button to lock/protect thevideo clip into a separate folder in the memory card. A key shaped icon will bedisplayed on the top right side of LCD indicating the video file is locked. Thelocked files will not be overwritten even when the MicroSD card becomes full.http://www.rexingusa.com/Downloads/Rexing%20V1-edited-Final-20150708.pdf **Q: Does it have a microphone, and how good is the microphone if so?** A: It has a microphone and it picks up sound rather well and can be turned off if needed. ## Frequently Bought Together - REXING V1 - 4K Ultra HD Car Dash Cam 2.4" LCD Screen, Wi-Fi, 170° Wide Angle Dashboard Camera Recorder with G-Sensor, WDR, Loop Recording, Supercapacitor, Mobile App, 256GB Supported - SanDisk 256GB High Endurance Video microSDXC Card with Adapter for Dash Cam and Home Monitoring systems - C10, U3, V30, 4K UHD, Micro SD Card - SDSQQNR-256G-GN6IA - Rexing Smart Hardwire Kit Mini-USB Port for All Rexing Supercapacitor Models - V1-4K, V1P, V3, V2 Pro, V5, S1 Series, V1P Pro Series, Max Series Dash cams, etc --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/15737243-rexing-v1-4k-ultra-hd-car-dash-cam-2-4](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/15737243-rexing-v1-4k-ultra-hd-car-dash-cam-2-4) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
