I tried them. They are very comfortable, I'd say the most comfortable earplugs I've ever worn. (I've also tried ER-20s, Dubs, Radians molded silicone, the Mack's soft silicone ones that cover up the canal, and various foam earplugs similar to Kandegos but not as good.)The Kandegos dampen sound very well without muffling it. After a short while, I hear whatever I need and even forget I'm wearing them. They make my ears feel safe and cozy. This is probably because they avoid contributing sound on their own. The seal they make with the ear somehow prevents the self-noise you normally look for to be sure the earplugs are in properly. In other words, when I talk or scratch my face or touch my ear or whatever, I'm not jarred by very loud, deep sounds. This is a downside to Dubs and even the molded silicone kind made by Radians and others. God forbid you actually hit the external part of the Dubs on something.For a box of so many terrific earplugs - really the ones I'm happiest to wear - the price is better than reasonable. The biggest downsides might be getting them in and the waste of using disposable earplugs. They are not particularly difficult to get in at all, a bit easier for me than the other standard foam ones, but a bit harder than the silicone kind, since you have to roll them and insert them and wait a few moments to make sure they expand in the right place. As for waste, they can probably be reused a time or two, but I suspect they're not meant to be washed.You will probably want to take these out after several hours and let your ears breathe, but unlike with the other earplugs I've worn, my ears aren't hurting at that point. I haven't tried using them when I sleep yet, but I probably wouldn't do that unless I were on a plane. I expect they'll handle that situation well.If you don't have another solution already, and probably even if you do, I'll echo that recommendation on the forum: do yourself a favor and put pairs of these in your car, backpack, pocket, purse, etc, etc. You'll be very happy the first time you need them. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Good quality, but too big *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2015* These are comfortable and effective, but were too big for my girlfriend's ears. She uses them for sleeping, and they are constantly sticking far out of her ear which makes them more likely to fall out during the night. So if you're a smaller person, consider children's ear plugs or a something else smaller. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars kandego ear plugs hardly block out sound! *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2019* these earplugs are smoothe ( not scratchy ) when you roll the earplug to insert it into the ear, it unfolds FAST , if the first attempt doesn't work , it then it looses the form and becomes to floppy and insertong it in the ear becomes difficult,and and takes 10 min before the form is suitable to be inserted, they DONT itch they DONT feel hard or itchy, the only complaint i have is they HARDLY BLOCK OUT SOUND!!!! these are apparently block out 33 decibels... i can still hare my air purifier...;.i tried multiple pars and used the directions on the box, didnt work, do i then tried many different techniques, it STILL DOESN'T WORK! so i instead inserted another brand named Flents only have 29 decibel protection. and he other brand Flints BLOCK MORE noise!!!...
