I usually unhook mine and put it in a bin/basket so it does not get caught or hang up on the moving belt as it passes through TSA security scanning. **Q: Where are the instructions?** A: You don’t need instructions. Unbuckle the strap and insert one end under a handle and then rebuckle. U-hook is then usable. **Q: How much weight can the hook hold?** A: I am a flight attendant so i pretty much packs a nice bit of food in my lunchbag and use the j hook for my lunch bag ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Safety Feature *by S***E on May 20, 2026* This works great with my carry-on. I like that it has a protective piece of velcro to insure no one cn grab your carry-on off the hook. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Life Saver *by R***L on August 16, 2026* These are a lifesaver. I wish that I could make them even shorter, but I make it work. I travel quite a bit and this hook makes my life more pleasant when walking through the airport with three bags. Place the heaviest bag on the bottom and keep it moving. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Essential for travel *by D***Y on May 30, 2025* As a flight attendant, I’m constantly juggling my luggage—rolling a suitcase, carrying a tote, sometimes even a lunch bag—and keeping everything balanced while navigating terminals is a daily challenge. I picked up this J hook strap hoping it would make my life a little easier, and it mostly delivered! Right off the bat, I noticed the build quality. The buckle is lightweight but strong, and the metal J hook feels secure—not flimsy like others I’ve used in the past. I love that it attaches right to the suitcase handle and that the Velcro wrap keeps everything in place. No more worrying about my bag sliding off in the middle of a dash to the gate or getting bumped around during boarding. What really stood out for me is the double adjustment feature. It keeps everything centered so my spinner luggage doesn’t tilt awkwardly when I’m pulling it through the terminal. If you travel constantly like I do, that kind of balance makes a big difference. It’s small, lightweight, and easy to store when I’m not using it. The only con—and it’s a small one—is that the J hook doesn’t adjust much smaller for overnighter bags. It works fine with most of my bags, but it’s not ideal for thinner handles or smaller items. That said, it’s become a staple in my travel setup. If you’re a fellow FA or frequent flyer looking for a reliable way to secure your bags, I definitely recommend giving this a try ## Frequently Bought Together - J Hook Luggage Strap Add a Bag Hook Hanger Strap, Adjustable attaches Briefcase Together (Black-Normal Size) - Travelpro Maxlite 5 Softside Lightweight Underseat Carry-On Travel Tote, Overnight Weekender Bag - Exshoiu Luggage Hook Strap, Luggage J Hooks to Add a Bag Flight Attendant, Adjustable Luggage Connector Hook with Hands Free --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/158014551-vigorport-luggage-hook-strap-j-hook-for-add-a-bag](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/158014551-vigorport-luggage-hook-strap-j-hook-for-add-a-bag) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
