Excellent for how cheap it is. I have a very short pivie (black womam) and works as good as a salon flat iron. Heats up ny the time ypu part your hair...VERY quick...It gets very hot so be careful of your settings. Its incredibly light which takes some getting used to. Last but by no means least, it comes with an american plug...HOWEVER...they have kindly provided a transformer so can be used anywhere in Europe/Uk. BRILLIANTI don't normally leave reviews but this product deserved a top one. Thanks I can finally look salon fresh all the time and as it curls so well...the bonus is i now only touch up twice a week...compared to daily!!!!..

Great little straighteners, curls the shortest hair, love them

Arrived with an European plug so had to buy an adapter. Lasted about two weeks before it just stopped working. Even when it did work it didn't glide over your hair properly. It was awful. DO NOT BUY. Save your money to buy something more decent.

These straighteners are effectively the same as the (now discontinued) Kipozi ones - probably from the same factory. The internals and function of them are pretty much identical - great price, size and heat setting that works well for my short thick man hair.Warms up really quickly and cools down surprisingly fast too. They do the job better than the other options out there, mainly due to the 230 degree max temperature.One positive over the Kipozi is the little sliding clip that keeps them locked in the closed position. The Kipozi ones just came with a little velcro loop for putting over the 'business end' of them.A few negatives though, hence the 1 star off. First, the cord is stiffer and harder to manoeuvre, despite the advantage of being longer. I don't feel confident wrapping the cable around the straighteners so will use the velcro strap provided to bunch it up instead. The plug on the end seems lower quality too.A really unnecessary downside is the choice of pink for the plates - it's hard enough being a man who uses straighteners without them looking like a little girl's toy! The Kipozi ones were all black, which is neutral and unimposing.Overall, still your best/only option for slim straighteners that actually get hot enough to work on thick hair.
