I added these after RS630 got stuck at the bottom of a somewhat muddy hill at the near the slope limit (around 15 degrees). No more getting stuck. Last season, I left these on for the spring and took them off once everything dried out in the summer. I have some narrow passages so adaptive line following doesn't work and I'm forced to have mine follow the center of the wire during edging/return home. Because of this, the grass under some of the hard corners where the robot turns while following the wire back to the base station get chewed up by the treads.
