You can tell that a lot of input, thought and care went into making these. And that's indicative of Ernie Ball. There's a distinct bevel all the way around the pick. Bear in mind, though, that this is a full sized pick, so the tip won't be quite as pointy as a jazz III but it's close. As a side note, the smaller versions of these picks are the exact dimensions of the original size jazz III, but even then , the tip is still not quite as pointy as a jazz III. We're talking just a hair or two off. But now we're getting pretty picky (pardon the pun). Back to the regular sized picks. The pick is extremely smooth and the material its made of makes for a very dry surface. Since my skin is extremely dry at the fingertips, these picks frequently fly out of my hands and into the black abyss where I can never find them again. I would suggest scrapping them up with a very coarse fingernail file. If you lay the pick flat on the table, it's very slightly more narrow on each side than, say, a standard sized Jazz III XL.I've tried to describe the picks as detailed as possible. While they are excellent picks and might be just right for you, the slight differences in dimension than what I am used and the dryness of the pick cause me to say no. I'll stick with the Dunlop Petrucci Jazz III. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super-sharp, crisp sounding yet removes string noise. *by J***C on Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2018* I am still geeking out about these picks. Before, I was using Dunlop Max-Grips. Firstly, before I even plugged one of my guitars in, I noticed that acoustically, it was louder and crisper using the Ernie Ball Prodigy pick. When I plugged it in, I noticed a distinct 'crispness' over my previously beloved picks. On my down-tuned metal machine with super fat strings, these picks make WAY less string noise than my other normal picks, which I find interesting.
