Why Choose Skilled Crafter Pottery Tools? As an artist you need your tools to be efficient and durable, easy to keep clean and quick to dry. You grow attached to your tools as you get used to the feel of them and the way they work in your hands. So you want tools that will give you many years of great work. Skilled Crafter modeling tools are made from durable stainless steel and aluminium and are built to last. They are easy to clean and won't rust which is hugely important to potters and sculpture artists who need their tools to stay smooth and untarnished. They are also quick to dry and will not crack, splinter or become rough as some wood handles do. A selection of the tools have taped handles as some artists find it preferable to work with a thicker grip. This is purely personal taste and the tape can be removed if desired. The advantage of taping your tools is that you can choose the thickness you find most comfortable. Colors are random and may differ from images. ## Features - GREAT GIFT IDEA - MODELING TOOLS YOU CAN TRUST! - Compared to other metal tipped tools with wood handles that can be flimsy, fall apart and bend or break easily, this set is strong and hard wearing and built to last. This means you have tools you can trust to do what they are designed for, that won't spoil your work and will be among your favorites for a very long time. - KEEP YOUR POTTERY TOOLS ORGANIZED with this strong zip-up case and classic roll-up case. I think bigger-diameter wood-handles would be lighter and more comfortable to handle (in place of the solid metal colored set), but that is not worth taking stars off for.(Using this for small polymer clay sculpting). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ High quality tools. Highly recommended. *by D***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2016* I am not a professional sculptor just a hobbyist. I would highly recommend this set of clay tools. Much higher quality than the ones you get at the craft store. A little pricier than some of the sets sold online but well worth it. A very nice complete set with a good range of tools. Was even sent with a personal note from the seller asking if you had any questions on how to use any of the tools. Very professional sale I am very impressed. Would you recommend these tools and the seller to anybody. Attached a photo of a Christmas ornament I made using these new tools. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Pottery Crafting Tools at a Great Price *by T***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2017* This is a great pottery tool set that comes in a very compact storage roll. I've been using the tools in hand building sculptured bonsai pots and they are great. I had the more typical wooden handle tools and found it frustrating when tips would pull out of the wooden handles. Also, our terrier chews the wooden handles into splinters when he finds a tool that has fallen from the work bench. There's a nice variety of tools in the case and they match what I needed perfectly. The seller also sends along a PDF document about the tools that is quite good. They arrived quickly and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/160107923-skilled-crafter-modeling-tools-for-clay-fantastic-choice-for-sculpting](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/160107923-skilled-crafter-modeling-tools-for-clay-fantastic-choice-for-sculpting) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
