They keep coming untied and it drives me nuts. I wish the manufacturer would make it so that they would stay tied. The first few wears, there were some parts that clung too tightly to my feet, but they relaxed quickly (I wore with socks for about 4 hours and then they were perfect). I am a size 8 with a high arch and medium (on the narrow end of the spectrum) width feet. The 7.5 was the right size for me. The rubber treads grip enough outside (I use for driving shoes/quickie errands), but I would not recommend for anyone who needs side support. These are indoor/outdoor slippers. Ordinarily, I wear crocs in the house, which provide greater arch support, but look like crap. These are a good substitute if you are looking for something that doesn't look awful if you forget to switch shoes when leaving the house.
