## Questions & Answers

**Q: This unit is advertised as a 25u unit. in the photo, i count only 15u (45 holes). the interior spec is 38” height. 25u calculates as just under 44”.**
A: The front will only accommodate 14 spaces due to clearance requirements. 

The other 10 spaces are on the top for mixer or I/O panels etc. Approximately 3 inch max depth at the shortest side(front).

This unit is made of pressed paper boards. Not wood. Very low load capacity. It is fine for lightweight equipment. I would not recommend use with more than 100 pounds of equipment total. It will not survive any abuse with a load even that small.

**Q: What kind of bracket do i need to put my mixer, line 6 stagescape m20d?**
A: That mixer will set in opening at top. Not sure of any bracket needed.

A: I had this case. It's crap! It weighs more then it should empty and the particle board fell apart after 5 months... I hugged everyother weekend with it though but it should have lasted longer. Ended up getting a Anvil brand case. It's more money but well worth it....

**Q: Will the top part fit a mackie CFX16 mixer?**
A: Looking at the 16 it doesn’t look like a rack mount system. But more of a table top

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great rack for the money

Overall this case is an awesome value. With that being said, the Cons: Assembly wasn't a cake walk, but it wasn't exactly difficult either. There are a few fit issues where enough wiggle room in the design could POTENTIALLY be an issue for some folks. However, with a little ingenuity and patients, it comes together rather nicely. This case isn't going to survive a full-on World Tour. Based on the material thickness and joint attachments, I would imagine a fall from a moving vehicle would break it into pieces. So... if you are looking for a military grade crate for your gear, you will need to spend a lot more money. The top (mixing board) compartment is a bit limited on size. Read the description and know the size of your board. I have the larger model of Yamaha rack mount mixer which is just a couple of rack spaces too large to fit. My smaller Peavey fits with room to spare. The Pros: The case wasn't a nightmare to put together. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. I would recommend a 2nd set of hand (I had my kid help me hold corners and the such) and a cordless drill. I was completely assemble the rack and load my gear into it in an hour (in no hurry). Once assembled with gear installed the rack is pretty solid. The front and back panels simply pop in and out with a fairly snug fit. The lid secures with a tight latch. Its is very easy to access all the gear quickly. Bottom Line: I use this rack to hold a small mixer, power conditioner, effects process, and a couple of EQs. I could EASILY fit a lot more gear into the bottom. My band uses powered speakers, so there isn't anything very heavy mounted in the rack. It opens up easily & quickly for use at a gig. It stows away and transports just as easily. I use an enclosed trailer to get it back & forth. It rides very well. I am very please with this rack for what I use it for. I wouldn't fill it with old-fashioned power amps. Overall, an excellent value!
